Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 22-110-HS001-05942

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This beautiful kanjivaram sari in purple is handwoven with stylised leaf motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The broader border has diamond, yaanai(elephant), mayil(peacock), manga(paisley), rudraksham and floral patterns in gold zari; while the small border has diamond and rudraksham patterns in gold zari. The pallu features a diamond band flanked by yali, mayil, rudraksham and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
